Every year, AIGA Nebraska invites designer from all of the nation to Omaha, Nebraska to judge The Show 20. This is your chance to read up on who will be judging your work in this years, The Show 20.

 

 
 Jeremy Perez-Cruz 

Jeremy has spent the last ten years creating effective, award-winning advertising and interactive design for the likes of Audi, Dreamworks, CBS, HP, Verizon and Disney. He currently spends his days at Etsy as a founding member of the Etsy Design Studio, an in-house, full-service design shop providing design, art direction, and design management for all sorts of awesome.

 

 

 
 John Sayles

John Sayles specializes in corporate identity programs, direct mail, package design, interior and exterior environmental graphics. As much a fine artist as graphic designer, Sayles still hand renders detailed illustrations and creates original typefaces. His commitment to traditional design methodology and tools give his work an edge and an authenticity that stand out and stand the test of time. Sayles’ client list includes American Heart Association, Citicorp Diner’s Club, Jim Beam Brands, Milton Bradley, Meredith Corporation, Proctor and Gamble, Quaker Oats, Target and Walt Disney to name a few. His work is included in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institution’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, the United States Library of Congress and the Museum of Modern Art in Toyoma, Japan. His work has been honored by the American Advertising Federation with four national ADDY awards, the Art Directors Clubs of New York and Los Angeles, the University & College Designers Association, the American Center for Design and of course, AIGA.

 

 
 Ben Kiel

Ben Kiel joined House Industries in 2006 as a typeface designer and developer. Originally from the Midwest, he underwent a rigorous training program to whittle down his innate Midwestern friendliness to a sharp point of East Coast wit. Compelled by an obsession with letters, he studied and received a MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading, England in 2005. Before House Industries, he worked in Saint Louis, Missouri as a both a freelance designer and as an apprentice letterpress printer. In his evenings he teaches at both the Maryland Institute College of Art and the University of Delaware and occasionally returns to letterpress printing under the name Studio 485.
